Low Risk: While Talc powder is a known risk factor, the prevalence of ovarian cancer is very low in the general population ( Approximately 1.3 percent of women will be diagnosed with ovary cancer at some point during their lifetime). This cancer is not common. I would recommend stopping the use of talcum based powder if possible .
