Day 7 of my 7 year son having a stomach virus and he is still cramping and now complaining of a headache? How long can this virus last in a child?

Not likely: Generally viruses which cause intestinal symptoms (usually in the form of nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea), are acute illnesses with onset of disease within 24 hours of acquiring the virus.
