Reactions: Not clear to me, as to why lumbar puncture needed, unless you were thought to have pseudo tumor cerebri. But now it seems you have a post LP headache, which may respond to a "blood patch". Lumbar punctures: After a lumbar puncture it is not uncommon to have a headache. If the headache responds to common meds like tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen i would not worry.
