Reactions: Not clear to me, as to why lumbar puncture needed, unless you were thought to have pseudo tumor cerebri. But now it seems you have a post LP headache, which may respond to a "blood patch". Contact your neurologist and get this complication addressed, and get treatment for your "chronic daily headaches".

If not better in 72-96 hours post-LP, would contact provider who performed LP for possible epidural 'blood patch.' Most post-LP headaches resolve with the above instructions.
