Sure: Progesterone suppositories are inserted once or twice daily inside your vagina. Most do not have any problems with it. Some women can have some discharge and some can have bloating and feel crampy. Some feel drowsy. Most feel completely normal. Depends: I normally have my patients continue their low-dose Aspirin throughout their cycle. Ask your physician though, they may want you to stop the low-dose Aspirin with a menstrual cycle. It normally doesn't increase the flow of the menstrual cycle though. ...Read more

Luteal phase defect: I use progesterone in the 1st trimester quite a bit for borderline progesterones and luteal phase defect. I don't check the levels after 12 weeks because the placenta produces a sufficient amount and losses from low progesterone occur much earlier.
