How long after I drink can I breast feed again?

How long after I drink can I breast feed again?

Small amounts can be out of your system in hours. Larger amounts will take 6 or more hours. Negligible alcohol becomes part of the breast milk, so pumping and discarding is not recommended (american academy of pediatrics). ...Read more

How many day em i supposed to pump out my milk and not breast feed if i drink & or smoke?

Hard to say: Since milk is made continuously and the byproducts of drinking and smoking enter the milk, it is hard to be clear of any effort that would protect baby.Pumping and dumping for 4-6 hours after a night of drinking would likely clear the milk to a degree. The residual smoke you cannot smell remains in your hair and on your clothing. Baby will inhale ; be exposed regardless as long as you smoke. ...Read more

Possible teething: She may be crying at night for another reason. At a year of age she is conceivably teething thereby giving her pain. Try giving her Ibuprofen or tylenol (acetaminophen) at bedtime and see if that soothes her.If you want to stop the night time feeds another thing you can try, is to let her cry it out. Go to her when wakes up, sooth her but don't pick her up. After 3-4 nights and youll get your rest. ...Read more

Sometimes babies get "lazy" after a bottle - the holes in the nipple of the bottle provide a faster fluid flow then your own milk ducts. I would keep at it - allowing him time to latch on.
