I had my gallbladder removed years ago. Why am i having pain like a gallbladder attack after eating, although not as intense and even w/ healthy food?

If there is abnormal flow through the end of the bile duct, you could have symptoms. Can't tell much from your description, however, if you see a doc, they can seek more information and hopefully guide you through a few tests to help. ...Read more

Gallbladder? Noticed after eating -odd discomfort on left side under ribs. I did some excessive dancing, but didn't think i pulled anything. Whats up?

Gallbladder is: On the right side. If it was your spleen, you'd probably be in the hospital. It is more likely that the dancing caused a sprain/strain of your intercostal muscles in between your ribs. Rest, ice, fluids....Hold the dancing! ...Read more

Many possible causes: Most of the causes of right upper quadrant pain after eating relate to the gallbladder, stomach, or upper digestive tract. Gallbladder disease, ulcers, and pancreas problems are all possibilities. Cancer is not likely at age 31. Initially, I would try antacids, such as Tums, (calcium carbonate) to see if you get any relief. If the problem persists, you certainly should see your doctor. Good luck. ...Read more
