Hard to say: Alcohol burns things - it is very destructive to tissue. If you put alcohol on a cut, you know this. It may be your are getting esophagitis, gastritis or acid peptic disease, or even pancreatic inflammation, depending on how much you are drinking and your body's sensitivity to alcohol. You need evaluation: I have no idea what the pain is, or why drinking alcohol makes it better, but you need to talk to your doctor. Hypertension in a 22 year old man is distinctly abnormal, and if your doctor has not tested you for more unusual causes of hypertension (coarctation of the aorta, primary hyperaldosteronism, renal artery stenosis and others), you should be tested for these. Need more info: Some people lack an enzyme that is involved in the metabolism of alcohol and there is accumulation of aldehyde, an intermediary product, that can cause the symptoms you described. Take this in the positive light and do not drink. Alcohol is a poison and it never did any body any good.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

Yes for both: Start with smoking; an increased risk of sudden infant death syndrome, add 2-3x incerase in bronchitis& ear infections & other respiratory issues. Add decreased growth & exposure to nicotine in the milk alcohol decreases milk production & passes in small amounts to baby. Even small amounts are potentially toxic to babies growing brain. The rate is about 1 in 7 developing the tumor which is the same in all countries exposed to the mouse with the MMTV virus.
