Ask your IVF doc!: I am pretty sure there is no scientific data to answer your question conclusively - so ask your ivf center about this. I would not expect any effect on implantation likelihood if i were you, though. No: This technique, which adds cumulus cells from inside ovarian follicles to the ivf mixture, has not been shown to improve ivf success whatsoever. As ivf centers strive to improve pregnancy rates, if this was shown to help, this simple technique would be widely employed (but it's not).
