No: In my 35 years of practice, I have never seen a case of reactive hypoglycemia. The disorder doesn't exist, if you're overweight the symptoms are a natural response to your glucose level returning to normal. Should a GYN do a biopsy to diagnose endometriosis? My Dr didn't do a biopsy and I'm concerned my symptoms are ovarian cancer.
Clarify plan: In order to do a biopsy to confirm Endometriosis your doctor will need to perform a surgery to allow entry into your abdominal cavity. This is called a laparoscopy. An endometrial biopsy can be done in the office but this samples the lining of the uterus and is not form endometriosis. You nee to find out: from your doctor , exact tissue diagnosis ( pathology ) Is it a benign cyst , or malignant cyst and the type . There nothing like ' R looked unusual ' It is not pathological diagnosis . You have to wait for the final report , some times takes few days to complete special stains and interpret .
