Very unusual: If you truly cannot remember anything in your childhood, i would wonder if there was some traumatic event that occurred. If your memory of recent events is normal, and you can recall things that happened last week, your inability to recall your childhood would possibly mean that there may have been events that were traumatic or upsetting. What age?: Many folks remember little before pre-school, except for very emotional events. If the lack of memory goes well into grade school it may have something to do with lack of motivation to remember or maybe even some trauma that you'd rather not remember.
