How Early Is Too Early To Take Synthroid In The Morning
Never too early: Thyroid replacement medications should be taken once daily. It doesn't really matter when during the day you take them--the medications have very long half lives. This means that the drug's level in your body won't fluctuate very much depending on when during the day you take the pill. ...Read more

Yes: Thyroxine is best absorbed into the body if it is taken on an empty stomach with no other medications or supplements, and you wait at least 40 min to eat. I did not take my pill last night 175 mcg of synthroid (thyroxine) so I took it this morning at 10 then tonight I accidentally took two will I be ok?
Should be...oops :(: At 35 y/o if u have no other major med conds u should be fine. Synthroid (thyroxine) builds up slowly and stays a while. If sig sx's see your doc! Skip 2 doses & restart as usual. I must add, some try it for wt loss->very unsafe! ...Read more
I always forget to take thyroxine right after awaking in the morning.what if i forget to take my tablet before breakfast.can i take it after breakfas?

By the time you are ready to get up and take on the day, it will likely be fine to have breakfast. Just a suggestion! ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
