How Does Sperm Work
How does payment of donating sperm work , the healthier the patient the more money you receive or the other way around?
No difference: All donors are expected to be "healthy" and free of disease. That being said, there may be a difference in renumeration if the donor has specific rare "traits" or attributes that might make his sperm more desirable/sought-after (much like when sires sperm are agreed upon when mating dogs - usually the donor is from a champion line. ...Read more
Here are some ...: The intent to inseminate with non-invasive ways as touted and marketed on line as so-called at-home insemination is virtually & technically no difference from natural insemination by elevating the buttock and lying on bed for 4-6 hours if any possible. I have tried to search such use in www,medscape.com but in vain. As to damaging to sperms, I would not think it physically will. Detail? Ask doc. ...Read more
Been trying for a baby for a while now would pro seed help me? If this don't work what drug can I take , my partner taken a sperm test already and ok
Trying to conceive: You do not mention how long you have been trying. After 35 year of age if you have been trying to conceive for 4-6 months and have not succeded it is recommended that you seek professional help. It's limited: The test at cvs and walgreen's (spermcheck) will only tell you if the sperm count is adequate (greater than 20 million per ml). If someone is just curious, this may be adequate. However, if a couple has been attempting to conceive for a while and suspects a problem, a complete semen analysis done at a lab will provide more useful information (movement, shape of sperm, signs of infection). ...Read more
Needs a formal test : A semen analysis is a very reliable way to assess count/mobility. However, it requires a trained lab to provide an accurate assessment. Additionally, there are specific rules for collection. The best advise i can provide is to schedule an appoitment with a urologist. Some obgyns will run the test if your partner is their patient, under the diagnosis of infertility. Best to have it done correctly. ...Read more
My SO works a 2wk on 2wk off, we've been ttc. His days on have been during my fertile time. Is there a way I can store his sperm for a few days? How?
I don't like boxes when i work but i've been told that brief cause lower sperm count. I've read that a jockstrap is a good alternative would that be?

If not, then your sperm count isn't an issue - wear boxers! next, plenty of couples get pregnant with the male wearing briefs. If you cannot get pregnant talk to a doctor before you start worrying about your underwear. Finally, a jockstrap would be just like briefs with reg to sperm count. ...Read more

So that answers that. And there is no way to make a genetic male into a genetic female or vice versa. However the treatment is oriented toward creating the gender identity outwardly that the person feels internally. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
