Certain foods or avoiding certain foods can lower your cholesterol up to a few percentage points. OTOH, some people could eat salads 3 meals a day and still have high cholesterol. NO It Does not: If a child is having Abdominal pain and Diarrhea , Acute Enteritis from something he/she ate caused it. It may help: Itchy, dry skin often gets some relief with oatmeal baths and so you may get some relief with that for your symptoms. Severe poison ivy will not likely respond much to the oatmeal.
