However, inducing your own contractions without the knowlege of your OB can cause problems for your baby and is not a great idea. Induction without a medical reason prior to 39 weeks is not recommended. Best to discuss this idea with your Ob before you try it. ...Read more

2 tbsp is OK: 2 tablespoons is OK. will it get you into labor, I am not so sure. If you are not more than 41 weeks, please be calm. Watch for kick counts and if they are OK, speak with your doctor and get a day for induction scheduled. Your cervix needs to be ripe before you get induced. Otherwise, you will risk getting a cesarean section. Not worth it. ...Read more
