How does a dentist fix a chipped front tooth with filling?

How does a dentist fix a chipped front tooth with filling?

Biting a sandwich likely will break it off. Bonding composite is a temporary solution. Longevity is important. Small chips respond best to tooth contouring. Large chips to veneering with porcelain. Crown fractures. ...Read more

Sometimes there are extenuating circumstances that make it more difficult or in rare cases impossible. You should start by discussing your wishes with your own dentist. Filling at 13 years : At your age, another filling is probably appropriate. The problem with bonding front teeth is that they break down and need attention through the years. As you age and the pulp (nerve and blood supply) to the tooth recede you can have a veneer or a crown done that makes the restoration more durable. ...Read more

Not particularly: I cannot explain why your current dentist would need to revisit the same tooth three times in three weeks and each time find additional decay, especially without being able to see a radiograph of the tooth and the tooth itself. If you are concerned, please seek a second opinion from another local dentist who can actually examine you. ...Read more

Emergency dentist said my holey tooth was tryin 2 form an abscess. He filled the tooth with a temp filling. Is my tooth now unable 2 form the abscess?

Temporary fillings are after sedative, slowing the spread of the decay before it reaches the pulp chamber. For the situation to be resolved the temporary will have to be removed and the tooth 'fixed.". ...Read more
