Openly and honestly: Genital warts can cause cervical cancer. That is serious. Therefore if you want to get into a serious realtionship, your have to know what you are dealing with. If the other person halts ther realtionship, that is serious but not as serious as not dealing with the disease at hand. SO, if you have active genital lesions, partner should avoid oral sex. Also can transmit to infant during birth, so make sure to tell OB if you have lesions and you are pregnant.
