Tough situation: Chronic pancreatitis is no fun. Treatment will partially depend on the cause of it. Pain control is hard to achieve even with opiods. One option I am aware of that can be effective is solar (celiac) plexus injection/destruction because this plexus (nerve collection) is the one responsible for pain in patients with chronic pancreatitis.
