I assume you have: One recurrently? And sure it's yeast? If u wear a thong it's gotta go. Vaginal yeast comes from the rectum. Too much shaving removes a barrier, don't know what to tell u there. You cannot eliminate yeast, you gotta keep it from getting into and growing in the vagina. OTC medications.: There are several over the counter medications that can be used. If David then topical medications like Lotrimin can be used. Miconazole products are also used for Candida, yeast infections. If a 17 year old female, vaginal preparations like Nystatin, Monistat or Terazol (terconazole) could be used.
