See below: Any sinus congestion? Earache may have been part of URI including sinuses, which can cause referred pain to back of head. Try nasal irrigation with saline spray. If not being treated for high blood pressure, might add decongestant. Nsaid (advil/motrin/aleve/etc) can reduce pain & inflammation.
