PMR: Given your young age & poor response to Prednisone it is extremely unlikely you have polymyalgia rheumatica(pmr). The key characteristics of pmr are that patients are almost always over 60 years old & those with pmr, respond dramatically to corticosteroids with rapid near to complete elimination of symptoms.
