I been on bed rest for 5 months. I haven't really been on my feet that much. I feel faint if i stand for more than 10 minutes. Can this be the cause?

Yes it could.: You are certianly deconditioned.Cant be sure that's the whole story but that mush bed rest is equivalent to years or aging.Slowly increace your up time. ...Read more

Chest pain, SOB: Signs of pulmonary embolism include chest pain and shortness of breath. This is an emergency. Preventive steps while on bed rest, aside from taking anticoagulant medication, include frequently flexing and extending the ankles, wearing compression or support stockings, and having the use of a pneumatic compression device. Try : Try to find out why you had these problems. Did a medicine cause it or was it related to vomiting, diarrhea? Get a copy of your lab tests to review with your doctor. It shows your levels and the normals. If your levels are normal now and you still have symptoms something else may be causing those symptoms other than the sodium and potassium. Only as sashimi.: You'll probably not be able to remove the poison. At best, you can destabilize it's chemical structure by soaking it in as hot as you can stand water for an hour. This will break down the poison and help with the pain. You can try to remove larger pieces of the spines with tweezers. I have tried new orthotics (temporary), but I get burning on the bottom of my feet. Because of heel pain, I can't go back to the old ones. Plz advise.

Further examination.: It sounds like you need to see a Podiatrist so you can get to the bottom of your problem. There are a lot of questions that need to be asked if it is "heel pain" or plantar fasciitis. Add stretching, ice at night and keep shoes on. If no better, see a Podiatrist. See below: Here are some suggestions: take frequent breaks and stretch your legs. Buy special orthotic pads for the inside of your shoes. Get a floor pad to stand on that is a little soft and so relieves the pain in your back by reducing strain but not too soft that your stance is unstable.
