When running for 20+ minutes my leg hurts on the left side where the tendons are, doesn't happen when i exercise generally though, only when running?

Lately my face gets really red whn i exercise.Running with humid temp. my upper leg got warm red a bit itchy but the lower leg not my body not regulat?

Normal to get flush: red face from vigorous exercise as circulation is increased to your face, arms, legs and torso. It may not be the best to run in humid temperature if it's very hot, and you must hydrate as much as possible to not get dehydrated even in humidity. If your upper leg gets itchy, you may be releasing histamine during your intense exercise. Not sure I'm answering your question completely. Please resubmit. ...Read more

Spider veins on tops of my legs, if i started running (similar exercise) so the blood circulated better would they reduce?

Spider veins on tops of my legs, if i started running (similar exercise) so the blood circulated better would they reduce?

Doubtful.: Spider veins are due to many factors including hereditary, trauma, sun exposure and , in women, pregnancies. Frequently they are also due to an underlying valve insufficiency reflux) and this can only be seen on a venous reflux ultrasound. I have a jabbing pain in my left knee when climbing stairs following heavy exercise. What could this be and can I keep running?

A primary care, sports med, or orthopedic doctor's exam can help. Meanwhile, running less is helpful. ...Read more

Burning pain inside my left knee. Off and on for the past week. Worse: after exercise. I think it happened when I was jumping or running.

Burning Left Knee: Talk with your PCP about getting imaging studies done of your left knee to look at the soft tissue structures (cartilage, ligaments, etc.). They might refer you to orthopedic surgeon if findings show things like moderate size meniscal tear or ligament injury. Hopefully your symptoms can be treated without more aggressive intervention. ...Read more
