Yes: Without an exam it is not possible to go into detail. Usually a toe is easy to treat with a dressing which compresses the wound together. I use BIOCLUSIVE membrane this way with excellent results. You can also consider GLUE. Ask your Dr about these. ...Read more

Yes: The use of ice packs to the surgical site will help decrease swelling and help ease pain. Do not keep it on for a long period as you do not want to cause problems with decreased blood flow to the surgical site. Probably OK: I can't think of a reason you can't since we generally recommend ice post surgery to reduce normal swelling. With that said, you should have been given directions when you left the surgical center that say what to do & not do but if that is not clear, call them & ask.
