How Do Get Rid Of Dark Spots On Boobs And Why Do I Have Them If Ive Never Had Acne Or Stretch Marks
How do get rid of dark spots on boobs and why do I have them if I've never had acne or stretch marks?
Not sure: I am not sure what "dark spots" you refer to. Some women may have darker spots especially on the areolae (areas around the nipples) that normally tend to be darker than the rest of the breasts. Those dark spots are just extra pigment collections and there is nothing to do about that. If you have dark spots that are bothersome, changing in shape or color, they ought to be checked by physician. ...Read more

I have lots of acne scars and spots over my face, chest, and back. They are dark because of my skin tone and hyperpigmention. How do I get rid of them?
Multiple options: You've got multiple options for treating your acne scars, even with your darker complexion. For example, microneedling is a safe and effective option that can be used on all skin types. Other options include chemical peels and laser treatments. The 'tincture of time' can also be effective as these scars will lighten up over time even if you do nothing at all. Skin lightening creams can also help. ...Read more
I have brown spots on my back & chest due to acne. What can get rid of them? I've had them all my life. Went 2 Derm & gave me trentinoin, doesn't work!
Not treatable: Some of the spots are probably due to acne while others are probably solar lentigos. The acne marks fade after several months; the others are permanent. Watch your skin for signs of melanoma. If you still have acne, manage it. Use a sunscreen. Many of my students, make and female, have these spots; no one minds; they are relics of a vigorous youth. ...Read more
Early salicylic late: Early on, salicylic a i'd preparations may limit inflammation which can produce hyperpigmentation. Late pigmentation can be treated with bleaching agents such as hydroquinone in combination with a retinoid and steroid. Time: They fade by themselves in a few weeks. I trust your acne is being controlled now -- if topical benzoyl peroxide has not cleared you in two weeks, your physician's prescription-strength rx will handle it. A topical hydroquinone bleach applied skilfully can make the pigment less visible, but it's probably not worth the trouble. ...Read more
Let them fade: I do see that you are being treated for seborrhea with ketoconazole, and also for acne Clindamycin monotherapy. It's a serious mistake to treat acne just with an antibiotic without topical benzoyl peroxide or some similar medication. Better management of your active acne will make the question of red and dark spots after acne moot. Good luck. ...Read more

Retin A (tretinoin): Retin a (tretinoin) is a prescription. The generic, tretoin, is the same but costs less. Tretinoin gel should be obtained in the largest size. Apply a very small amount every night. At first it may be irritating & drying, so you may skip a night sometimes. It is less irritating if you wait 20 minutes after washing. Expect improvement after 3 months, then continue for at least a year. Frustrating, but it tak. ...Read more
Many options: Using topical bleaching creams, retin-a, retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid can help. Also important to avoid sun exposure which would intensify the dark spots. If topicals don't work, then turn to your doctor to get a procedure such as lasers (noninvasive lasers work best on pigment with less side-effects), ipl, chemical peel, glycolic or salicylic acid peel, microdermabrasion. ...Read more
I have mild acne only on my cheeks on my face and mixed with dark spots. How could I get rid of them both?
Acne and dark spots: There are medications that treat both acne lesions and dark spots, like retinoids, benzoyl peroxides and azelaic acid. All of these can be irritating so start them slowly at twice a week and gradually increase to once a day. Irritation from acne treatments can by itself produce dark spots, so slower is better. ...Read more
My face is completely clear of acne but I have dark spots on my face from where it used to be. How can I get rid of them quickly?
Time/creams: Most will fade on their own, may take months to do so, and sun will keep dark. If you are using a retinoid for your acne, that will also help to fade, as wil azaleic acid (another topical acne tx). Failing that, must use a bleahing cream, but that may make acne worse, and finally sometimes lasers, but their side effects are dark spots as well. Would coordinate with a dermatologist. ...Read more

Hi I recently have been breaking out very badly and suffer from dark spots what can I do to lighten then and also get rid on acne?
Manage, not cure: Topical benzoyl peroxide and/or tretinoin are often enough to control your acne until it remits on its own. There's no telling when this will happen. Remember that acne's really not related in any obvious way to lifestyle, diet, or anything else we understand. I'd suggest you leave the pigmented areas alone; bleaches can disfigure you. ...Read more
