Growth: At one year average weight is 10 kg. From 1 year age food choice changes, the child starts walking, becomes more physically active, vit. D milk is introduced, etc. So weight gain slows down little, then the child catches up in 1-2 months. Make sure she is active, eating and drinking well. Depends on Calories: Exercise burns calories & can lead to weight loss. But it depends on how many calories you take in (No matter what the calories are made of). For example, Walking or running 1 mile only burns about 100 calories. The most you can usu. burn in an hour is about 500 cals with extreme exercise (cross- country skiing).
