How Come I Have Heartburn Every Day For Four Years
I have been having spottings every week for the last three months each of which last for max three days. I do not get my normal periods. What is wrong?
I have been getting my period twice a month now for about two months, and in between also every two weeks i seem to be ovulating aswell?
Not Normal: That is definitely not normal. If you are indeed ovulating, which is not that likely, then there is something wrong causing all the bleeding. You may have a polyp or a fibroid. So for sure you should be evaluated to figure out what is going on. Very difficult to get pregnant with bleeding like that. ...Read more

I have been nauseous all day every day for over three years now. It comes in surges at least twice a day and stops me working. Whats a possibility?
Nausea: Continual nausea for three years is a nonspecific symptom and warrants an evaluation by a gastroenterologist who will take a thorough history, perform a physical examination and order appropriate tests in order to make a diagnosis and get you treated. I have been given propranolol for my aniexty three times a day I was wondering about how many hours I should leave in between them thanks ?
Anxiety Treatment: Propranolol is primarily a treatment for the symptoms of anxiety--panicky feeling, racing heart, increased blood pressure, sweaty palms--rather than a treatment FOR anxiety. I would take it every 6 hours while awake, but watch for low blood pressure and slow heart rate. Also consider seeing a psychologist for counseling and/or requesting an antidepressant with anxiolytic features such as Paxil (paroxetine). ...Read more

Good nutrition but..: Eggs are an excellent source of nutrition containing protein & many vitamins & minerals that are good building blocks for your baby. While eggs do contain cholesterol, eating eggs does not necessarily raise your cholesterol levels. However, i strongly recommend that you eat organic eggs, which are widely available & affordable-otherwise they are from chickens feed gmo corn & soy which i would avoid! ...Read more
After having to switch several medications for a flu i haven't had my period for two months, how can I force my period to come?
Get my period every other month or every month some times. My last one was 10 days long and now I have been spotting for about 15 days.
I have pco's for last 15yrs. I am 29yrs now. I take 5 tabs of registrone every month to get my periods. will this have long term effect if i continue?
Amazing to me: B"sd Norethindrone is a form of progesterone, which "prepares" the uterus lining after exposure to estrogen. on stopping the pills the lining is "unsupported" and menstruation ensues. Ongoing monthly rx is not commonly used in my experience - but do not see any adverse effect. Endocrinologist approach is to try and reverse the hormonal abnormalities in PCOS and usually normal menses follow. ...Read more
How do I safely kick-start my period? Every month I have severe cramps for a day or two before, and a day or two after.
Cramping and Flow: If the flow is on-time and predictable, cramping before and after can be due to prostaglandins made by the lining that cause uterine cramping. The first step is to take highest recommended doses of Naproxen or Ibuprofen 24 hours before you start to cramp and during the cramping. If this does not reduce the pain after a few cycles, birth control pills may be an option and see your GYN for others ...Read more
