Heel pain: Most of the heel pain i see is due to plantar fasciitis which is inflammation of the fibers attached to the heel. Typically worsened on first weight bearing. Depends: some people nad some bones heal faster of slower in general it is at least 6 weeks to some early stability / 3 months to pretty good stability and at least 6 months to "full" healing although it can take a whole lot longer and to fully remodel bone certainly does take longer good vit D level helps things to heal up a bit quicker IMHO ...Read more

Yes,: you can usually tell an old healed fracture from an acute fracture on xray. The sacrum/coccyx is sometimes problematic because it is often not well visualized on xray due to overlapping structures, and there is a wide range of normal angulation which can sometimes be mistaken for a fracture. ...Read more

30 yrs old, broke clavicle skiing in feb. Just broke again bowling! close to original fracture. Any ideas on how this is possible, given my age?

Clavicle fracture: Are you sure it was healed from original fracture? Sometimes you can have a clavicular nonunion (never healed), but can aggravate the nonunion and will cause pain.
