No. Ultrasound.: In all likelihood, the MRI won't reveal any more information than what ultrasound has already determined (TEE is a type of echocardiogram or ultrasound of the chest). TEE checks for migration (movement) of the clot & it's size. An MRI is an expensive way to do that; TEE is "as-good".
