Is there a difference in the brands of formula for babies (similac, parents choice) my baby has acid reflux and throws up on PC formula not any other?

There are some formulas which are designed to be easier to digest, and some babies with acid reflux have less spitting with these formulas. Powder vs ready-to-feed can make a difference, too. ...Read more
My infant is showing signs of dehydration. When do I call the doctor? My baby has been ill and is having fewer wet diapers than normal. I’ve tried to give her pedialyte, but she isn’t taking much of it. At what point do I need to call her pediatrician?
Call Dr. now: Signs of dehydration include fewer wet diapers, tears and saliva that is thicker than usual. Infants may become dehydrated in just a few hours. It sounds like you've done the basics-it's time to discuss the details with your doctor. It will be much easier to treat the problem early. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
My baby has a slight temp and her eyes are puffy and a bit red. We gave her the min dosage of infant tylenol (acetaminophen). Mother was slightly ill this week. ?
Sounds as if: your baby is also becoming ill. Infants under the age of two months with a rectal temperature of 100.4 or higher should be emergently evaluated and not given Tylenol (acetaminophen). Older infants and children can be offered supportive and comfort care with pain/fever reducers until they have been evaluated by their pediatrician. ...Read more
