At least 2 weeks: Ayahuasca can have very profound psychospiritual benefits & can help some people to overcome depression. However, as a MAO inhibitor it can have serious interactions with many drugs & one must also avoid many foods before using. Combining ayahuasca with citalopram can cause serotonin syndrome.
