How can I stay in my home? I must see both a psychiatrist and a social worker and work with them if i want to stay in the house i've been labled paranoid schizophrenic i also have a low i q. That my brother doesn't even know my home is paid off free and
I : I think i may have responded to a previous question about this, if so i won't repeat that information. I recommend that you prepare yourself before you go in for your court directed mental health assessment. Ensure that you know the names of your medications and your doses. You might want to make a list for yourself of the things that you do independently to take care of yourself. For instance, do you take a bath or shower most days? Do you change the clothes you wear regularly? Do you brush your teeth at least daily? How many meals do you eat a day and who makes them? Are you able to self administer your medications? Can you handle your money? The evaluator may want to know if you have been having problems with violence or with the police. The evaluator usually needs to assess things like if you are a possible danger to yourself or anyone else or if you are able to take proper care of yourself. I also suggest that you discuss your concerns with your legal counsel. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I have a bag of weed stuck in my throat. How can I get it out? And if II go to the hospital will i get in trouble?
Priorities: Oh gosh. You have gotten yourself into a predicament. What is the priority here? Hopefully, you believe it will be saving your life. If the bag obstructs your airway, it could become life threatening. Is it better to die & have the bag of marijuana discovered at autopsy or would the better choice be to get medical intervention & then just take whatever consequences may or may not come your way? ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

I am in a 60s dorm built for guys. Now it is coed and we have to share the showers and toilets with them. How can I overcome shyness?
Not sure as: This is a bit different. Expecting you to share toilets and showers with strangers is not really shy...It is appropriately modest. I doubt you grew up in a house where anyone from your school could come and share your bathroom at any time. Are there times that more women than men are in the bathroom? Are there floors that are just male vs female? See more..... ...Read more

Odd statement: Smallpox has not been reported in the world since 2 lab associated cases in 1980. Perhaps you mean chickenpox. My baby's almost a week old, when can I take him outside? And when can I leave the house to do things?
No official time...: The american academy of pediatrics has no specific age cutoff before going in public. Airlines need a docs permission if newborn flying is less than 1 week. I bent over to get something off thr floor in my friend's bathroom. I think accidently touch the toilet and trash can with my mouth. Will I get hiv?
Am i halucinating or am i just paranoid? I was recently removed from my mother's house where i was abused physically and mentally. I currently live with my grandparents in a nice safe neighborhood. They have alarms on the doors and cameras around the hous
Even : Even if you have just moved to a safe neighborhood, it doesn't mean that your fears are going to vanish. If you have a history of being mentally and physically abused it is likely to make it difficult to trust that you are safe. Many things can act as triggers- people, places, things, smells, flavors. Part of a post traumatic response is to be overly reactive to certain cues. Your fight or flight system is likely to be over-sensitive, so you may panic more easily. Additionally, if you experience a flashback, you may hear things that aren't there or you may mistake actual sounds for something else. You might see things that aren't there during an episode of reliving, or you might have an illusion. An example of an illusion is seeing an electric cord but mistaking it for a snake. Nightmares and difficulty with sleep are common. Checking and rechecking that windows are closed and that doors are locked is also common (especially at night). This does not mean that you are crazy. The mind has unusual ways of dealing with trauma. If you are not getting mental health care already, please let your grandparents know what you are experiencing so that they can get you good care with a pschologist and a psychiatrist. I wish you well during your healing process. ...Read more
