See below.: You can use an over-the-counter product called Swim-ear or Auri-dry.These are drops that you put in your ear and should help to dry out the water. If they cause pain,or this feeling continues, you should see your doctor to make sure that water is the cause.Swimmer's ear is when the water causes an infection of the skin of the ear canal. Please see your doctor if this does not help. ...Read more

Plugged ear: The fluid may be in your middle ear and accumulated because your eustachian tube is plugged up, and has nothing to do with being around water of getting water in the external canal. With middle ear fluid, you get that feeling of 'plugged up'. Pop your ears frequently, chew gum, yawn - the same things you do on a plane if ears plug. If pain or drainage develop, see doctor. ...Read more

It feels like there's water in my ear, but there isn't? Why is this?

It feels like there's water in my ear, but there isn't? Why is this?

Check if Wax Buildup: I agree with Dr. Gorup. Another thought is that wax-buildups can cause you to hear abnormal sensations (whooshing sound, hearing your pulse in that ear, crackles). This is especially likely if you use Q-tips, earplugs, ear buds, etc. Seeing your primary care doctor for an examine, will determine if wax is the cause If the ear exam is normal, and you have no evidence of a sinus infection, see ENT ...Read more

How long should I wait to see a dr. If it feels like I have water in my ear sometimes I have some virgo with it for 2 days now

Water in ears: For now you can try an over the counter an hydrant. These are sterile drops that once placed in the ear, they dry out water that might be there. Ask the pharmacist. If no relief then see a doctor. Many medical conditions can give vertigo. If you have an infection you may likely need prescription antibiotics. Do not wait for condition to worsen. Your body is trying to tell you something. ...Read more

A loud noise went off by my ear & now my ear has been ringing for 2 days, including a "rushing water" sound. Will this ever go away? Is it damaged?

Doubtful; possibly: Tinnitus (ringng in ear) following loud sound may improve somewhat with time, but likely there will be some permanent hearing deficit. See ENT specialist for exam including hearing test & treatment options. ...Read more
