I take Adderall 10mg i'm doing good on it except i can't sleep geodon (ziprasidone) 60mg isn't working anymore what's a good sleep medicine that will work quickly?
Depends : From your information it looks as if you been diagnosed with more than just adhd and that the insomnia preceded the use of adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine). In general that low dose taken in the am does not usually cause sleep issues in an adult although it might aggravate existing issues. It is also contraindicated to be taking the additional meds you have listed at the same time. Need visit with provider. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

This is not good medicine. ...Read more

Wierd on Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine): Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is a stimulant, so it increases arousal state. Even if this is the case, please call your doctor/prescriber to discuss your medication reaction. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

For over 5 yrs i was prescribed both Adderall XR 30mg and Xanax (alprazolam) 1mg by fam dr. Now seeing diff dr and he said these 2 meds no good together?
True: Everyone is different, but generally these medications work at cross purposes, as Adderal is a stimulant and xanax (alprazolam) is a sedative. The concern is that neither will work as well as it should, and you will have more side effects than with either alone. It is hard to switch tracks after 5 years but I would give your new doctor a chance ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
"Adderall feeling"?: You have not described this "adderall feeling" you're getting. But if Adderall is making you jumpy or agitated, xanax (alprazolam) may temporarily suppress this. However, if having difficulty with Adderall i recommend discussing it with your prescribing physician instead. This can be addressed without adding a potentially addictive medication like xanax (alprazolam). ...Read more
