Could be anything: Low back pain in a 19 year old should be evaluated. It could simply be muscle strain, but could also indicate more serious problem. Popping probably doesn't mean much. If pain is worse in morning associated with stiffness lasting > 30 minutes, then inflammatory disorder is possible. If it is worse with activity it could be more mechanical. Unknown cause benign: If you are not already into it, start a serious exercise regimen. Chances are great that you have a systemic arthritis. Exercise PLUS a good doc is the best RX. You may want to try Aleve (naproxen) if OK with your doc, when PG. Other meds may be needed after delivery and weaning.
