Paxil: I doubt this. Although people can lose weight on topomax that is not it's indication. Please let your physician know about your weight gain. I don't use Paxil all that often, because a number of people i treated in the past had weight gain. Your physician might consider change to another ssri. Yes: Out of the ssri medications, Paxil (paroxetine) seems to be the one most common to contribute to weight gain (and this is on the fda adverse reaction list for this medication. Other ssris such as Prozac and zoloft do not have weight gain listed by fda as possible adverse reaction.
