If I go on a low low calorie diet while I breast feed, is my baby not going to get enough vitamins?
Maybe but maybe not: If you restrict calories but still maintain a balanced diet, your baby will be fine. Reduce the sugars you take in but not the fruits and vegetables. Be sure to keep on water though. If you are dehydrated at all you will make less milk. But calories doesn't equal vitamins. Good luck! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Water intake: Not really safe. You need roughly 64 ounces of fluid a day. 2 gallons of water is 256 ounces of fluid, not only that, it is free water rather than balanced electrolytes. The net effect will be that you will eventually become hyponatremic and that can cause you all sorts of problems. You could probably do a gallon and still be okay. 2 is pushing it. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Its sort of the only thing that sticks out. I'm already on a low calorie diet, how else can I slim down?
Is there any reason why i gain weight very easily now even on a low calorie diet as about 3 to 4 years ago i would eat more & not gain weight at all??
Don't starve urself : If u don't eat too often and wait too many hours to eat the body will store what it can into lipids=fat cells because it feels it should hibernate. If u eat every 2-3 hours the body feels it needs to burn off the food. Other aspects to consider are u'r thyroid, sex hormones like estrogen or Progesterone or even testosterone-but they would also come with unusual hair in areas u may not have had. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
A bit o'carbs: Choose something like a granola bar to provide your body with some carbs for the workout. Grain cereals like grape nuts, a whole grain bagel or a banana are other good choices. Not a large amount though right before your workout because it will be sloshing around in your stomach and also it will draw too much blood to your gut rather than to your muscles for the workout. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

In : In general, slow transitions work best. Gained weight comes from consuming more calories than you burn. Some people burn more calories than others at a baseline (normal activity), others gain weight very easily - this baseline of calories burned will slowly decrease through almost everyone's lifetime. As you increase your calories, monitor your weight and note the time you commit to exercise each day or week. If you start gaining, either increase your exercise intensity or eat healthier foods with less fat and sugar. Not all exercise is equal, shorter durations of high intensity exercise is much better than a leisurely walk or sitting on a stationary bike and reading a book, however any degree of exercise is better than nothing.
