How can I fix the fluid building up in my scrotum?

How can I fix the fluid building up in my scrotum?

Probable hydrocele: Sounds like a hydrocele which is a "bag" of fluid around the testicle. This is best corrected by hydrocelectomy. This is a simple outpatient scrotal operation. Unless it is a hernia, in which case you need a groin operation for hernia repair. Have the swelling checked out, might need an ultrasound to rule out testis tumor. ...Read more

Drink water: Passing crystals in urine may cause pain in the testes. Drink enough water so that your urine is colorless and odorless. If the pain still persists, it would be prudent to see your doctor. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. ...Read more

Sometimes my scrotum is big and I can feel vines from the left side. Some times it shrinks almost normal, sometimes I feel fluid inside.

Sometimes my scrotum is big and I can feel vines from the left side. Some times it shrinks almost normal, sometimes I feel fluid inside.

To consider..: Sounds like it could be a varicocele, which is caused by dilation of some of the veins that flow to the testicles. Left varicoceles are more common, as you report. They tend to be more noticeable when standing and are less noticeable when laying down.Is this true for you? They can cause shrinking of the testicle as well as be a cause for infertility. You may want to have your doc examine to be sure ...Read more

I have to get my scrotum aspirated today because of fluid after surgery. What type of pain should I be expecting? Will it warrant pain medication?

Resubmit: It sounds like a hydrocele will be aspirated. What operation did you have done? How long before the hydrocele developed was it done? Tylenol (acetaminophen) will do. A better answer can be given if you answer the above 2 questions. Good luck. ...Read more

If I have a vasectomy will fluid build up in my scrotum every time I have an orgasm?

No way: Only 10% of the ejaculate (fluid that comes out at orgasm) comes from the testis. Most of it comes from the prostate and seminal vesicle. After the vas is sealed, the production of testicular fluid is decreased. You will always be making sperm but they have nowhere to go and they get reprocessed. Nature is very efficient. ...Read more

Upon 2 urologists exams i've been told i'm healthy, but I feel a sort of fluid-like mass in my scrotum, typically right side. Normal? What is that?

Probably a hydrocele: This is a collection of fluid around the testicle. Is likely relatively small if 2 urologists have tried to reassure you. A urologist will no doubt correct it if you tell him/her that you are finding it tiresome. Otherwise don't worry. ...Read more

I had cystogram. After 3 days i felt pain in scrotum so i ejaculated. But only few drops of water like fluid came out. Is it normal after cystogram ?

Not really: Cystogram is an x-ray test not likely to cause your symptoms. I would be more interested in why a young male needed a cystogram? I assume you are seeing a urologist. If not, you may want to do so. The indications for cystogram are very narrow. ...Read more

I have a painful cyst where the scrotum and thigh meet, when i popped it, it leaked a orange fluid that got redder gradually. what could it be?

Here are some ...: What described most likely represents the innate sebaceous cyst with superimposed infection - a process similar to the acne. To rid it completely and permanently requires a complete surgical excision, which can be done under local anesthesia as an outpatient while the acute inflammation subsides. Of course, it's hard to say for sure in 100% without a direct look at and feel on it. More? See Doc... ...Read more
