Is it possible darvocet to enhance the "high" of methadone?

Is it possible darvocet to enhance the "high" of methadone?

Not going to answer: It is not the job of a physician to help people hurt themselves, or at least not suggest that they be helping themselves instead. Methadone is not meant to cause a "high." It is meant to treat pain and otherwise leave people feeling normal. If you want to get high on it, you are abusing it. Any physician, no less an addiction medicine doctor, would be unethical to give you advice. Get help. ...Read more

No methadone x 2 ds: Whether or not you'll be able to feel effects of 5mg Percocet depends on whether you were tapered from methadone, or just stopped, your prior dose, whether or not you are currently withdrawing, & ur metabolism, amongst other things. In all likelihood, effects will be minimal. More importantly, it sounds like the best thing you could do is get back on methadone & avoid relapse. Call ur doc! ...Read more

Some good ones: Methadone can lead to sudden cardiac death at high doses, half life is not as predictable, can have many drug-drug interactions. Suboxone is considered safer. I've been on methadone for 2 yrs never over 95mg and now at 27mgs, if I stop cold turkey will I have side effects?

If you have cravings, anxiety, rapid heart rate, sweating, salivating, tearing, nausea, diarrhea then slowmdown a bit, maybe every 2 days.
