Stay active: Exercise is a great way to relieve stress. Your body releases endorphins during exercise, which can help you feel calm. If you exercise 30 - 60 minutes a day, your stress levels can improve. When stressed, take 5 slow, deep breaths with your eyes closed, then roll your shoulders forward 5 times, then back 5 times. This will slow your heart rate and release tension in your neck and shoulders.

Wellbutrin (bupropion) has always helped with my OCD and anxiety. It seems the opposite for others. Do you think my external factors really made symptoms better?

Maybe.: Wellbutrin has caused anxiety in some depressed people but if it helps your ocd, continue to take it. There are other antidepressants well known to help ocd such as luvox, anafranil, zoloft, Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) , Lexapro but each individual is different. The poor concentration makes me think that you may have symptoms of attention deficit for which wellbutrin is indicated.

Anxiety & OCD: can be treated w/medication and/or behavioral approaches. A clinical psychologist is the appropriate professional to see for that. Try to find someone who specializes in mood disorders. Peace and good health.

Yes and no: The coexistence of other neurologic and or emotive disorders in add runs about 40%. Although it can occur in isolation, whatever triggers this variation in brain activity can and does often effect more than one area.

Worth a try!: However, other skin care options are available, so please discuss this with your GYN or Dermatologist. If Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) is contributing/exacerbating your OCD , anxiety, I would not recommend you continue this because it has improved your skin. Several other contraceptive formulations also produce beneficial effects on skin.

Not that we know.: However, if asking whether it's genetic or not, there seems to be a genetic component to all of those disorders with odd (opositional defiant disorder) having no known link. Anxiety, especially panic disoder and agoraphobia, have a somewhat stronger link but not to the degree tourettes and OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) have. No brain "development issues" have been found in these disorders.

Assessment: There are particular criteria that must be met to diagnose each of those conditions. However, I am not familiar with the term "existential anxiety". It would likely take me at least two sessions to complete an evaluation with this complexity. Psychological testing would also be beneficial.
