Tightening in stomach feel like baby squeezing insides is this braxton hicks contractions? (30) weeks pregnant! happens throughout the day!

Maybe: What u are describing maybe braxton hicks or just baby moving. I suggest that u palpate (feel) your abdomen when u experience discomfort. With ctxns u should be able to feel the muscle wall become firm then relax once the pain resolves. Either way, pay attn. Keep well hydrated. If your ctxns are rare (less than 6/hr) and mild it is likely okay. If they persist see your md. ...Read more

Ask Prescriber: Generally, 3 times a day means an 8 hour interval. However, if the medication is known to irritate the stomach, you may be told to take it 3 times a day with a meal meaning that you take it when you eat. Dr. can check at 3mo: A young baby makes his own schedule and will fuss or cry if still hungry. Healthy babies are fed "ad lib", which means we let the baby decide how much to drink. (Usually, after 3 months of age a normal baby can be allowed to go 6-7 hours at night without feeding or other parental interaction.) The pediatrician can check the baby's growth at the 2 month check up next week, to make sure it's normal. ...Read more

Fit For A Werewolf?!: Yikes!!! Please remember that old saying, "Use As Directed." Next time you want to break that rule, try a small test patch (say on the neck or behind the jaw). Anyways, an antiinflammatory (like ibuprofen) and carefully applied topical steroid (like hydrocortisone 1%; avoid the eye areas) might help. And stay out of the sun. Use sunblock while it's healing.
