What's an inexpensive lower limb prosthesis made of?

It varies: Most leg prosthesis are modular and cost will depend on components. A below the knee (transtibial) will cost less than an above the knee (transfemoral) prosthesis. A basic transfemoral prosthesis (for patients with limited mobility) could include a sach (solid ankle cushion heel) foot, locking knee and custom socket (where the stump fits in). Why i get oedma which is pittig type in one lower limb just above ankle on medial side?

EMG report say the sensory nerve conduction amplitude in the Right lower limb were on the lower limits of normal. What does that mean?

Means it's normal: Low or high end of normal is still normal when it comes to that sort of statement on an EMG report. If, however, the clinical situation were explained a bit more or if there were other EMG's you've had in the past that show a distinct change from these results then, there might reason to question the stated "normality." Otherwise, be glad you're done with the test! Good luck. ...Read more

At the l4-l5 level there is a diffuse circumferencial disc protrusion causing anterior thecal compresion causing heaviness of lower limb with pain?

Depends: A protrusion of the l4-5 disc is not unusual and can be associated with back and leg pain. A detailed exam and appropriate additional studies can usually determine the cause. Thank you. ...Read more
