I have severe allergies was perscribed astelin nose spray & eye drops zyrtec (cetirizine) ventolin inhaler duo neb its not that effective add anything?

Allergy asthma meds: It sounds like you have severe allergies and some asthma . OTC sprays Nasacort and Flonase help nasal symptoms but take a few days to kick in . Singulair (montelukast) is a prescription pill that can help with nasal or chest symptoms . Steroid inhalers are important for asthma (e.g. Qvar, Flovent). Stuffy nose, green mucus, coughing, eyes hurt, sinus pressure?

Sinusitis: Sounds like you may have a sinus infection. Try taking over-the-counter preparations with decongestants (if you have no heart conditions that contraindicate), and plenty of steamy heat.
