How important is dairy, truly? Ive been trying to stick to Myplate but fall short w/dairy unless I drink milk. Can one still lose fat keep health w/o?

If cow milk allergic: Camel's milk and horse (mare) milk would both be acceptable substitutes for a person with cow's milk allergy. Goat's milk cross reacts with cow's milk about 92% so not a good substitute.
