Possibly: The vagina always contains bacteria & other microbes but, if they're in a healthy balance, there's no need for treatment. Feminine washes (douching) can upset that balance & trigger infection. Since there's normally no need to use them & they may have caused a problem for you, I recommend you stop using them. I just got done with a three day yeast infection treatment but for some reason I'm still itching worse than before. What could be wrong?

Something or nothing: Perhaps 3d antifungal treatment wasn't adequate duration. Or you might have resistant infection. Or non-yeast infection. Best to go see your Family Doc, GYN or Planned Parenthood for evaluation if standard antifungal treatment doesn't resolve your symptoms. ...Read more

Go To Drug Store: There are multiple over the counter yeast treatments available at the pharmacy, drug store, or supermarket.
