There is no evidence that it would interfere with the radio-iodine or make it work any less well, but i would abstain for several weeks to be on the safe side. Another opinion: I'm not Dr. Rotchford but it is true that marijuana can be addicting. However, the incidence of marijuana addiction is quite rare and the vast majority of marijuana users do NOT become addicted. One thing to keep in mind is that interferon alfa is contraindicated with retinal problems, but the new treatments that should be available in the next 1-4 years (depending on certain factors) will be pills and no interferon.
