What are the long-term effects of atrovent nasal spray? I have used for 10 yrs. This past yr, I have experienced reduced urine flow. Is it related?
Possible: Atrovent (ipratropium) (ipratroprium) has been available for quite a long while. It has a low side effect profile. Although I can't say for sure it very unlikely that after 10 years you will begin to have any secondary effects. Like any anti-cholinergic medicine it can cause urinary retention. This is much more common in men, especially if they have protate hyper trophy. There are other meds you can switch. ...Read more

Prot/Cr, UPEP, .....: Cause of proteinuria in elderly individuals should be investigated & treatment directed at the cause. When the urine protein level is "30" & caused by microalbuminuria it should be repeated & the prognosis is better as compared to a "30" relating to nephrotic range proteinuria. Hi, I experience a lekage even after I complete my urine. It will of 1 or 2 drop and I feel it comming out. What is the reason and the remedy to cure?
Possible infection: Sometimes, a UTI can cause this symptom. Also, could be a problem with bladder sphincter but I doubt this at your age. I have been detected to have cytstitis cystica and my latest urine report is perfectly ok. What treatment is advised and how much time will it take fo?
Cystitis cystica: Cystitis cystica is a benign (noncancerous) change that is thought to be a reaction to irritation and not a specific disease of its own. Sometimes it forms a small bump or a polyp-like area. Therefore a urologist might biopsy it to make sure it is not cancer. There is no evidence that it becomes cancerous over time. So it may not need to be cured unless there are other bladder problems. ...Read more

UTI? STD?: Probably an infection, but you don't provide enough information. If you are young (under 30) or at risk, or if any discharge from the penis, then an STD is likely, especially gonorrhea or chlamydia. If older or with prior urinary tract problems (e.g. prostate, recent hospitalization with a catheter), then a non-STD urinary tract infection (UTI) is likely. Don't guess or self treat: get care ASAP. ...Read more
