Home Remedies For Pitted Acne Scars
You can't: Anybody offering you something to remove acne scars is scamming you. Only a dermatologist can do this, using microsurgery, lasers, fillers, and/or abrasion. I'm sorry the scars happened in the first place -- all acne is treatable nowadays. Some men -- tommy lee jones, jet li, casey pachall (photo) have kept their scars for the "tough guy" look. It's a personal choice.
No: Nothing's going to help with depressed acne scars of any subtype except the lasers, fillers or microsurgery that some dermatologists and plastic surgeons can use. I'm sorry you ended up with scars in the first place; all acne is manageable nowadays and it's unfortunate that yours was neglected.
Not likely useful: I have seen many of these products advertised in the skymall magazine and other miscellaneous infomercials and shopping networks but I am quite skeptical about their effectiveness.See 1 more doctor answer

No simple solution: While there are many different products that make these claims, there is no one cure for all conditions. Popular mon prescripion ingredients include salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and retinol preparations. Many options: There are many different ways to try to improve the appearance of acne scars. The best place to start is with a consultation with a dermatologist or plastic surgeon who can review the expected results with skin care, resurfacing procedures, injections or surgical techniques. Unfortunately this is often a difficult problem and you need to go in with the expectation of improvement, not perfection.See 1 more doctor answer

Acne Scar Treatment: There are a number of options for acne scars depending on their size, shape, depth, and skin type. Laser resurfacing, usually fractional, may help improve the texture of the skin but may require multiple treatments. If there is deep scarring, the scars can be excised or cut out. Subcision, releasing the scar underneath the skin, along with fillers or fat can also improve the skin texture.See 2 more doctor answers
