Orthopedic&6 weeks: It takes 3 weeks for the fracture to heal and total of 6 weeks for the bone to remodel.So say 6 weeks for finger to return to normal If the fracture is simple and bone segments are not displaced,it is usually treated by splinting the finger. Cold pack: If no idea how/why suddenly swollen, then might be infection, or gout (but odd for your age to be there). Can keep eye on it & cool compresses to see if swelling goes down. If does not, or if increases, should see dr / urgent care for examination to see what is going on. ...Read more

Have it evaluated: If your spots are left to demarcate they will eventually declare themselves as to the degree of burn. If you can at least get to an urgent care center the burns can be evaluated for depth of penetration, zone of injury, and potential need for treatment such as debridment ; repair. ...Read more
