3 months of jock itch treatment + hand rash ongoing. Would a dermatologist be able to test and determine root cause if treatment needs to change?

Strep throat, prescribed amoxicillin. Then red spots on top of hand, rash along both bottom sides of arms. Doc says unlikely allergic relation. STD?
