IT DEPENDS: Not all diseased gallbladders have stones. About 10% of gallbladders removed, due to symptoms , have no stones. They just fail to empty appropriately, leading to pain, bloating, increased gas, and nausea. Iron supplements: Orofer XT is an iron supplement. Oral iron frequently causes bloating and gas. There is nothing that will change the symptoms. The best recommendation is that if you absolutely need iron supplementation, to try different iron supplements until you find one that you can tolerate.
